I recently graduated from Grinnell College, a highly ranked liberal arts school renowned for strict academic and admissions standards. I specialize in helping students learn the German language, and I am also proficient in humanities and science subjects. Additionally, I'm also well-versed in teaching reading, writing, essay editing, literature, grammar and mechanics, college essays, history, geography, English, social studies, public speaking, AP US History, AP US Government and Politics, and business. I can additionally lend a hand in getting students prepared for standardized tests such as the SAT critical reading, SAT writing, SAT math, SAT verbal, SAT math, ACT writing, ACT science, ACT reading, ACT math, and ACT English portions. My tutoring sessions center on the individual goals of the student. For instance, if my tutoring services are requested for helping a student with extra homework, then I will incorporate the student's own assignments into the session. However, when I'm challenged with more general goals, I will integrate my own exercises and materials into the session. Overall, I'm willing to work with students who need more personalized attention than they're receiving at school. I currently reside in Mequon, Wisconsin.
